Hi, I'm Amanda

Over 20 Years of Veterinary Experience
I have enjoyed the company of cats since childhood and worked as a vet nurse for over 20 years and a teacher for more than 10 years.
My particular interest is in feline health, behaviour and welfare for cats in their homes where we are all still learning to live together harmoniously. I am looking forward to working with you to keep your cat happy and in your home where they are loved and respected.
My qualifications include:
-
ISFM Diploma of Feline Nursing
-
ISFM Certificate of Feline Friendly handling
-
IAAHPC Certificate of Hospice and Palliative Care (first vet nurse to complete this certificate in Australia to date)
-
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
-
Associate degree in Adult and Vocational Education
I have spent most of my life working to create positive environments for cats, and I’m excited to focus on helping you create the best possible life for the cats already in your care. Together, we can build a happy, healthy, and harmonious environment for you and your cats to thrive.
The Mission
We want to work with you to create a home where your cat feels safe, understood and deeply loved. Sometimes the cat- human relationship bond can be fractured when there is a misunderstanding or clash between the cat’s needs and your own.
We offer various packages and strategies founded on feline behaviour, animal sentience and well being principles. These are used to consider your living situation to co-create an environment that brings you to a closer connection with your cat and honours their personality, emotional and physical needs. We strive for quality of life for all ages through different packages tailored to your cat’s unique needs, health status and life stage.
With a greater understanding of what makes your cat feel safe and how they like to be loved, the more connected you will feel and the happier they will be.
